Domefest is more than just a music festival, it is a gathering of the College Park community. The festival has been planned to encompass the collective sum of the heart and soul that makes up the University of Maryland and College Park.
Music
We have chosen bands from a variety of genres that showcase not only the diversity, but the depth and talent of the College Park and regional music scene.
Domefest is taking a number of measures to ensure a minimal environmental impact.
- Composting - Compost bins will be located throughout the festival grounds. Composting organic waste reduces the carbon footprint and improves the soil quality.
- Recycling - Recycling bins will be located throughout the festival grounds as well. Please avoid putting recyclable materials in the trash cans.
- Carbon Offset Option - Festival-goers will have the opportunity to offset their carbon footprint from their transportation to and from the festival. A small donation will be calculated based on the mode of transportation.
Art
